The 7610 imaging phone is a very impressive device for the first megapixel camera phone to be released from Nokia. The rush to release megapixel camera phones was won in Australia by Sharp, but that was only a 1mpx camera. There were concerns that the rush would case a decline in quality, but clearly this is not the case with the Nokia 7610!
The handset also combines the popular Symbian 7.0s interface on the Nokia Series 60 platform, with Bluetooth, Pop-Port™ interface, Xpress-On™ front and back covers RS-MMC card support and many more fun features. There’s also the 7610’s main selling point, the video and still imaging capable 1mpx camera, able to capture 1152 x 864 pixel shots.
For the business users you can synchronize you data over the Pop-Port™ USB data-cable connection or GPRS SyncML connection. There is also SMS/EMS, MMS, E-mail, and instant messaging and presence enhanced contact support.
The sales package of the Nokia 7610 has everything you need to get connected and familiar with the handset. The getting started package has the RS-MMC adapter, USB data-cable, and all the guides and special goodies!
The Nokia 7610 is available now, and bought outright will cost you around $930.
