Sony Ericsson T310 - Phone Review Face-lift with the Sony Ericsson T310

10 June 2003
Written by Kinny Cheng

In Summary

I must say that I wasn’t too happy with Sony Ericsson releasing this “facelift” model of a phone. The T310 just correlates so much with the time when Sony Ericsson released the T68i, which was virtually the same as the Ericsson T68m with the exception of its exterior design.

Sure - if you don’t really need fancy colours and just want a phone that has a wide range of messaging support, the T310 is probably a plausible candidate for your next mobile phone. However, keep in mind that there are other models in the same price range out there on the market that may just offer a richer set of features that what this model has.

The most ungrateful thing that Sony Ericsson has done with the T310 is to not give this model some new life on the inside. Come on… with the T300 released more than half a year ago, this means the phone is based on technology and concept that’s over six months old! They could have at least done something and not simply just give it a new look!

Sony Ericsson obviously doesn’t agree - otherwise, they wouldn’t have released the T310. I am as perplexed as most other people who feels the same way…
