LG G7100 - Future phone

LG G7100

LG G7100

19 July 2003
Written by Patrick Tsang

LG has been in the mobile phone industry for quite sometimes, but they mainly focused on CDMA handsets. So far, they have released two GSM handsets; G5300 and G7020, in the Australian market. For all the LG handset fans out there, we have good news for you; introducing the LG G7100! =)

Like the G7020, the new G7100 has a clamshell design. What’s so special about this new handset is the swivel top, that allow the user to turn the flip top of the phone 270 degrees, used when taking photographs with its integrated VGA camera (the camera is on the side of the phone, so its necessary to rotate the screen when taking photos).

With an internal 65K-colour LCD screen, and also an external 256-colour display, the LG G7100 is a pleasure to process and use!

Other features include: Java support, GPRS, 32-tone polyphonic ring tones, MMS, SMS, phonebook, caller groups, musical editor, world time, 5 alarm-clock (works even when the phone is turned off), calculator, and in-built Java games (Multiply, Submarines and Space Ball).

We would be expecting the LG G7100 to appear in the Australian market during the 3rd quarter of 2003.

FYI .:. the LG G7100
