Sagem my X-5 - Future phone

Sagem my X-5

10 July 2002
Written by Kinny Cheng

Sagem’s my X-5 mobile phone is the first colour screen model to be released by the manufacturer. Not only that, the phone also offers a high level of customisation allowing its user to set up different wallpapers, screen savers (animated and static) and ringtones (my X-5 supports up to 80 Hi-Fi ringtones, with 50 of them downloadable). Physically, the front and back covers of the phone can also be changed to suit whatever mood you may be in!

It’s not just fun with the my X-5. An infrared port allows the phone to be connected to computing devices giving access to a high-speed Internet connection via GPRS. WAP access in colour is also available on the my X-5, providing for a viewing area of up to 8 lines of text (101 x 80 pixels).

The my X-5 mobile phone should be available during the second quarter of 2002.
