Samsung
If you think the Korean manufacturer is slow at giving us new GSM models, just wait till you see what they have lined up for us in 2003!
This is possibly the only stand at CeBIT that I stayed at for quite a while. Trying to take in the many new models showing on their stands, it’s suddenly hard to contemplate Samsung bombarding the market with so many new models when they were slow to release new models during 2002.
Anyway, here goes:

SGH-D700
- first Samsung phone to use the Series 60 interface which runs on Symbian OS 6.1, and will also include a built-in swivel camera and rotating LCD display,
USB/IR interface, 65K-colour display, and support for an external MMC memory card (expected quarter three of 2003);

- first mobile phone to take on a wrist watch form factor and smallest GPRS phone in the world, and includes a colour screen, handsfree speakerphone, GPRS Class 10 data connectivity, and Bluetooth wireless support which makes this phone so much more practical (expected fourth quarter of 2003).
